Who is behind this

Twenty-five years in this industry. And I own several timeshares myself.

Most of what gets written about timeshare is written by somebody selling you one or somebody selling you a way out of one. This is written by an owner who has spent his working life inside the business, sat with thousands of families, and reached a different conclusion than either of them.

In his own words

“I’m not here to help you get out.
I’m here to help you get in.”

I have spent twenty-five years inside this industry and I own several timeshares myself. I have sat with thousands of owners, and I am not going to pretend they all wanted to keep what they bought. Plenty of them wanted out — and every one of them told me why. It never worked the way they were told it would. The fee arrives every January whether the family travels or not. The week they wanted was already gone. The points expired while they were busy living. It became one more bill and one more argument, and it was sold to them as the thing that would give them their time back.

But here is the sentence I have almost never heard: I wish I had never wanted the vacations. They still want the thing they bought it for. What they want out of is a system that beat them — and that is a completely different problem, and a solvable one.

There is an entire economy built on telling you your ownership is a mistake. There are companies that will charge you thousands to walk away from an asset you are still paying for, and companies that will rent your week out at full retail and keep the middle. Some of them do honest work. None of them are coaching you.

What I was taught, and what I teach, is goal setting, planning, purpose, and how a family communicates about what it actually wants. Vacation ownership is one of the best delivery systems for that I have ever seen — when somebody shows you how to drive it. Nobody ever does. So that is the job I took.

Randy Pryor — Coach Randy · owner, veteran, and the coach who built this

The gap this was built to fill

Two industries grew up around owners. Neither of them teaches.

One sells the ownership and stops talking the moment the ink dries. The other sells the escape and charges thousands for a document. In between sits the family who wanted the vacations, still wants the vacations, and has never once been shown how the thing in their folder actually works.

Nobody hands you the keys to a car and calls it a driving lesson.

Every other significant thing a family buys arrives with somebody attached to it. A house comes with an inspector, a lawyer and an agent who answers the phone for years. A business comes with an accountant. A diagnosis comes with a doctor who books the follow-up before you leave the room. An ownership comes with a folder and a handshake.

That absence is not a small gap in the market. It is the entire reason the resale market, the exit industry and the forums exist — three whole economies built on the fact that nobody ever stayed in the room and taught.

What a coach is

Somebody who has run the route

A coach is not a cheerleader and is not a salesman. A coach is somebody who has already made the mistake you are two weeks away from making, and who says so early enough to be useful rather than late enough to be a story.

Twenty-five years of doing this produces a great many of those.

What this is not

Another owners’ group

The groups do real good and we send people to them. But a group is a room full of people answering from their own resort, their own contract and their own year, and an owner reading it has no way to tell which of the twelve confident replies applies to them.

A forum is a crowd. Coaching is a person who asks what you own first.

Why an owner built it

He pays the same January bill

Randy owns several of these. The fee arrives at his house on the same schedule it arrives at yours, the windows close on him too, and he has lost a week to a deadline he forgot, the same as everybody else.

Nothing on this platform was designed by somebody who would never have to use it.

Where we draw the line

Four things this platform will never do.

These are not marketing positions we could quietly revise next quarter. They decide what we are allowed to build, and every one of them closes a door somebody else in this industry walks straight through.

We will never take money to get you out

We are not an exit company. There is real money in that business and we have watched families hand over thousands of dollars for a result nobody guaranteed them. If getting out is genuinely what you want, we will say so on the phone and we will not sell you a membership on the way past.

We will never promise you a week

Availability belongs to your resort and your exchange company. No coaching, no membership and no amount of money spent on this site changes what is in inventory on a given Tuesday. Anybody promising you a named resort on a named date is promising you something they do not control.

We will never dress this up as medical cover

Nothing on this platform is insurance and nothing on it is a health plan. What the membership includes is access to services provided by independent companies, at rates they set, and it does not replace anything you already have.

We will never run a countdown clock at you

No expiring seats, no timer, and no price that quietly goes up if you close the tab and think about it over the weekend. A term ends, we ask you again, and you decide. If that costs us sign-ups, it costs us sign-ups.

If that sounds like the help you were never given.

Three plans, one page each, and every one of them says plainly who it is wrong for before it says what it costs.
